What you need
- A soft tape measure (tailor’s tape).
- Paper and pen, or a note on your phone.
- A phone to take photos in good light.
Front seats
For each seat measure:
- Seat cushion width, side to side.
- Seat cushion depth, front to back.
- Backrest height from the cushion to the top (without the headrest).
- Backrest width at shoulder level.
- Headrest size if it is removable.
Rear bench
- Full width of the cushion and backrest.
- If the bench folds in parts (such as 60/40), measure each part separately.
- Positions of seat belts, buckles and headrests.
Details to note
- If there is an airbag label on the side of a seat, photograph it and tell us: it affects which stitching is suitable, and we never assume without seeing it.
- Armrests and pockets behind the seats.
- Any seat that has been modified or is not original to the car.
Photos
Photograph each seat from the front and the side, plus close-ups of any detail (headrest, pocket, label). Keep the tape measure visible in at least one photo.
Send them to us
